Sardinia as the Festival of Kosovo

The comparison was done a few days ago by MEP Mario Borghezio of the League, which argued that Kosovo will be an example to follow for Corsica, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Ireland, Sardinia and of course Padania.
All peoples mentioned by Borghezio (apart from the Po Valley), according to some historians have a common origin in Shardana who left their mark on history for their resistance to foreign domination. After this small way, it makes me wonder what would happen if Sardinia, his entire political class and its people is expressed through a referendum for independence. Rome would have the courage and the arrogance to object? Would not this act a violation of the principle of self-determination of peoples enshrined in Article. 51 of the Charter UN?
The situation is certainly not that in Sardinia or in any other areas cited by Borghezio, but this is rather in Kosovo. The autonomist sentiment of the Sardinians, as well as their origin in ancient Shardana and practical application with the judges in the Middle Ages and up to date in Barbagia where it has never accepted the law of the foreigner, had a party with the first expression to Psd'Az 'day after the First World War. It was founded by veterans of the Sassari Brigade, which left the island they realized what the problems were ignored by the mainland of Sardinia. The PSD 'Az achieved a sensational (in some areas even more than 30%) was the last few political force to surrender to fascism, expressed MPs and was able to get the Second World War for the independence of Sardinia. In the '80s there was a revival of feelings of autonomy so that the PSD 'Az was also the President of the region with Mario Melis, then the decline led to a diaspora of sardisti into several groups: Sardinia Natzione, Fortza Paris, de sa Indipendentzia Repubrica of Sardinia and of course the timeless Psd 'Az who survived fascism, the Cold War and the First Republic in tangentopoli. Today again are strong feelings of autonomy in a land that seems to become a VIP for Gomorrah of the continent. Soru is no coincidence that he made a flag of these feelings, but the recent Constitutional Court ruling declaring unlawful the so-called "luxury tax" because it imposes a tax system that discriminates between Sardinians and Italians do not Sardinian, has once again highlighted the condition of slavery who suffer the island towards the mainland. And if you want the Sardinians' s authority to impose its own laws and taxes, Rome would have the right to deny this choice? Why Venice is to charge entrance fees to tourist and Sardinia can not? It is feared the precedent?
The situation is not as dramatic as in Sardinia, but can not be said for Kosovo. A nation that in recent decades has been the victim of physical repression by a state that has always conceived of Yugoslavia as an extension of its domain, piemontesizzazione one of the Balkan Peninsula. Today it seeks to be master of its own destiny, to be able to self-determination, calls for an undeniable right. Serbia is the head of this division as it has not been able to protect the autonomy and the Serbs with their historical responsibilities have no right to claim and sulking on the international community.
If this will mean to reignite the autonomist demands in the rest of Europe I will be happy to be liberal because I believe in decentralization of power and self-determination of peoples.
